For Mommy’s birthday, we all went to Greensboro, NC. We started at the Science Center on Saturday afternoon, then had dinner at Natty Greene’s and stayed in a hotel. In the morning, we ate breakfast at a diner – I had the pancakes. Then we walked around The Bog Garden and headed back home. Mommy took lots of pictures at the Science Center and The Bog Garden, she says there are way too many to post, so she made a little video:
Here are some of my favorites photos from the trip!
In the zoo, we saw meerkats, cockatoos, and gibbons.
And Momos! A.K.A. Lemurs. This one was meditating.
Here I am riding a frog. Look how much I’ve grown since last time I was here!
We walked down a path to see the tigers and maned wolves.
We also saw some wallabies and a peacock.
In the petting zoo, I got to feed a goat. It was my favorite part of the day!
It was getting pretty cold, so we moved inside to the aquarium and herpetarium. We saw a fishing cat, penguins, and a huge fish tank!
Look! I’m INSIDE a bubble!!!
Daddy and I got to pet some stingrays!
And I got to hear a rattlesnake – I don’t think I can make that noise!
Here are my favorite photos from our walk in The Bog Garden. I got to see lots of birds, ducks, and geese – they go “tweet tweet,” “quack quack,” and “honk honk!”
