Check back here for more arts and crafts by the famous Connor Raeman!
Firefly, Caterpillar, and an “Airplane Bug.” Connor made the caterpillar pretty much by himself and put the sequins on the airplane bug’s wings. This was his first time using glue or scissors!
Turtle. Connor dumped glue on top and added all the turtle’s bling.
Pumpkin bowl. Okay, mommy helped a lot with this one – but Connor did the patterned rolling pin and put the eyes, nose, and teeth in place. He also did some of the painting.
Self-portrait/Mask. Connor did most of this one himself, and is officially excited to go to art class!
Bird in Nest. Connor cut and glued the nest materials and added the googly eyes and feather accents. The bird is a puppet and he enjoys flying it around.
Maraca! Connor did this one almost all by himself. It’s probably his favorite work of art so far, as it makes music, too!
Snow globe 1 – Connor painted, glittered, and pom-pommed
Snow globe 2 – Connor did lots of gluing on this one!
Connor’s February art class was cancelled, but we made these snowflakes at home. Connor did everything but glue the sticks together. We used markers, glue, glitter, and pompoms.
Connor made these valentine’s with just a little help from a friend. (Mommy cut the heart shape.)
Turtle and Handprint from Morning Mud.
Flower from Toddler Time at Pump It Up. This was the first time Connor filled in something with paint!
Lady Bug from Toddler Time – I love this bug’s spot style!
Fireworks – dish soap and paint on foil
Functional Sail Boat – mixed media. Note from Mom: much of Connor’s art moving forward is from summer camp or preschool. It’s mostly project art, as opposed to free form art, and I’m not always sure what parts Connor contributed.
Smiling sun with teeth – mixed media.
Fish sculpture -paper.
Choo-choo train – mixed media.
Olympic torch – mixed media.
