In November, for Daddy’s birthday, we went to Great Wolf Lodge. I like hotels, but I never knew they could be so much fun!
We started off the day with a big breakfast – they had pancakes AND waffles!
Then we put on our swimsuits and headed to the water park.
Wow, there was water everywhere! It came up from the ground…
and down from above!
There were water shooters and all sorts of things to push and turn to make water flow.
Daddy and I climbed up…
and dumped water on Mommy!
I really loved the big wave pool.
I caught some saves and even went under water a few times!
Mostly, I just enjoyed splashing around in the water!
And splashing other people with water, too!
Slam dunk! (Almost)
My favorite part was the big bucket that dumped water all over the place…
And I also liked warming up afterward; it was cold!
After a nap, we headed over to the arcade.
I really liked this fire truck and rode it about a half dozen times.
I rode in a submarine with Daddy.
We sank your battleship!
I also rode the carousel with Mommy.
And she taught me how to be a Whack-a-Mole champion!
We got enough tickets to score a pretty cool prize, too.
I carried the bat all the way back to our room!
The next day, we got to make our very own plush wolf! I picked him out and filled him with fluff.
Then we took him on a scavenger hunt, where we built a snowman, made a snow angel, and built an igloo.
And I took my photo with all of the Great Wolf Lodge animals. Next year, I’ll be as big as they are!
Next, we headed to the bowling alley, where I tried out bowling for the first time!
Watch me bowl a strike!
Only just kidding!
The Clock Tower Show was a lot of fun! We learned about the importance of preserving the wilderness.
We ended our trip with a Wolf Walk, where I learned about the forest animals…
made an origami wolf…
and met Violet. She is such a nice wolf!
